“Vegetable Soup: Poetic Style”

Hello, I’m a vegetable soup girl;

I give life a poetic whirl.

I will write about this and that;

I’ll even write about your neighbor’s cat!

I love to write about anything.

Give me a theme. I will make it sing.

From the dirt on the floor to the clouds in the sky;

I love to write, but never ask me why.

As I stir the pot of rhyme and wit,

A dash of humor, a pinch of grit.

From socks that vanish to bills that grow,

I ladle laughter—watch it flow!

I simmer veggies on low and slow;

In words I paint, in dreams you’ll know.

From the shadows cast in morning light,

My soup of verses makes wrongs feel right.

Even the cat from next door joins the fun—

In my poetic parade of vegetable soup when I’m done!

So come taste my soup, regular made or salt-free;

Each line written will always be me.
