“Peanut Butter Surprise Fun: A Wedding?”
Have you ever soared in a peanut butter balloon?
You will, very, very soon.
My name is Jelly; I am so sweet,
I need peanut butter shoes, for my feet!
I love riding in the air, or sailing in a boat;
Just keep me away from a hungry farm goat!
Today, I’m looking for something strangely unique;
Something gooey, pea-nutty, smooth and chic.
A soft place I can sink, and melt,
Where the sunshine warms me like I’ve never felt.
A while ago I found Peanut Butter’s Balloon;
Made an appointment to ride with him soon.
With me, Jelly, in control, Bread stands no chance,
To spread me all over his cotton-picking pants.
I’ll hop aboard the Peanut Butter Balloon,
Then yell down at Bread, from the moon.
“Ha, ha, Bread, I’m leaving you high and dry!”
“For a party, I’ll love it, in the sky.”
“Peanut Butter are you there?” calls Jelly.
“Jelly, I’m here, hop in my balloon’s belly!
We’ll soar through the clouds to the nice cool air;
I hope you’re wearing your strawberry hair!”
“Would Jelly ride her favorite PB Balloon without it?”
“I guess not; if you’re ready, I’ll take off; you just sit.”
“Oh, Peanut Butter, my belly jelly is starting to run!”
“Hold on, Jelly, soon we can have some fun.”
Up, up and away we go;
Peanut Butter Balloon needs no tow!
Drifting higher, we will travel,
Peanut Butter Balloon, please don’t unravel.
I got my Jelly, and Bread, is gone;
Now, Jelly is where she belongs.
Stuck to me with my Peanut Butter Balloon
We will be married tomorrow, a minute before noon.
Bread lost his chance, with Jelly to score;
Once we’re married, his heart can’t soar.
Wedding bells are ringing, can’t you hear
Noontime is coming very near.
Vows are taken with many smiles;
Guests are standing in every aisle.
Wishing us well as Mr. & Mrs. Peanut Butter and Jelly;
It is such a beautiful day.
My bride and I spot Bread at the door;
I’ll call Pretzel to shove Bread out and off the floor.
That should do it now; we can dance some more.
Until later we get smashed together, for a score!
Honeymoon time!
