Retirement Happy Hour: While God Tends the Clock

We sit and chuckle, like two young kids;

Drinking our drinks without them, bibs.

Enjoying our retirement as we wish,

Then go for fish fry, which is so delicious;

We take our time, no need to move fast;

Retirement time surely won’t last.

As when you’re old, it moves too fast.

Enjoy what comes every day;

As freedom can end any way.

God’s watch has all things figured to a tee.

It’s not something for you and me to see.

Enjoy for now, like new children can do;

Smile pretty; God can always see you!
