“Chocolate Delight“

Hi, do you need a chocolate fix?

How about a crunchy Twix?

A Hershey Bar with almonds or just plain?

Chocolate lovers are insane!

From scrumptious chocolate-covered cherries,

To tasty bars, of chocolate raspberries.

Any way they come; all are delicious!

But, how about the chocolate in dishes?

Chocolate cakes, brownies, hot fudge sundaes,

Eating all these are fun days!

I’m a lover of the darkest chocolate there is;

While I’m looking for I always make it my biz.

From the grocery stores to the mega-mall stores,

Looking for my favorite chocolate can be a chore.

With so many choices of chocolate in the world,

I sleep in a deep, dark, chocolate dreamworld.

I dream of chocolate-covered pillows for my head;

And dream of sheets of chocolate on my bed.

If the world were chocolate, I’d be in heaven;

Wishing I had a loaf of regular bread and leaven.

This chocolate thing is something I love;

I wonder what clouds are made of.

If they were chocolate, I wouldn’t mind;

I’d take a bite to see what yummy kind.

Will they have nuts or raisins when it hails?

Will rainbows still be pretty, in the misty trails?

Chocolate — what a thing to love, wouldn’t you say?

Come with me on my journey. Enjoy a dark chocolate day.

Let’s enjoy this tasty treat together, bite by bite.

Together we will eat it until our tummies delight.

Got to go. Chocolate syrup awaits.

Ice cream and I have a yummy date.

Bananas, cherries, pineapple, too,

Doused in my favorite chocolate fudge syrup, too!
