“Grandma’s Giving a Lesson: People Listen Up!”

There are many echoes in the cycle of pain;

It’s driving the universe, the whole world, insane.

The pain of living creatures versus the green pain of Earth;

What’s the biggest difference? What’s it all really worth?

The pain of all bodies is very much like Earth’s pain;

Both feel terrible inside and out, driving each insane.

Humans hurt their bodies with drugs, alcohol, or engaging in strife.

Earth suffers from the pollution we disregard in life.

Earth cries for help, with landslides, fires, just like our bodies do…

Listen closely as you can hear the earth tremble, the wind’s cry, boo hoo.

In our shared agony, tragically, these two universal cycles never end.

Yet over time the Earth and all bodies with proper care will surely mend.

So how can we solve this crisis—help achieve less pain for both?

Stop polluting the world around us; respect Earth’s growth.

God gave everything a body so beautiful to live on this Earth;

Let us cherish life, animals, and plants, for all that they are worth.
