“Are You the Last Peanut?”

(Your truth or what others conceive)

This is for those who go with the flow.

Is it because you simply don’t know?

Or, is it because others do,

And you want to follow, too?

I sometimes wonder, how does the flow go?

Tell me, please; I want to know.

Do you take sides because others do?

Or is it that; you want to be accepted, too?

People talk both good and bad.

Sometimes it’s honestly awfully sad.

Their tendency is to see only one side;

Never fact checking; where is the pride?

Yelling, screaming, “Take my side!

Come with me on this unvalidated ride!”

Do you ever question is the flow right?

Are you going with them when they fight?

Look at yourself and what you believe.

Is it your truth, or what others conceive?

Are you the last peanut NOT in the jar?

If so, unscrew the cap – jump in, you won’t go far…
