The Great Gumball Adventure: A Young Fishes Delightful Tale

(When a colorful ‘gumball’ bobs just out of reach, one determined little fish learns that not everything sweet is what it seems.)

Oh, Yummy a Gumball: But it’s NOT a Gumball!

A gumball! I have to get it, just like my pa!

Hey Gumball, I need you. “Right, Ma?”

Come to me, you sweet little treat.

I need to get you and tummy to meet!

I have to get that gumball, but how?

I’ve been trying for over an hour now.

It bobs up and down in front of my face,

I swim faster to get it, like I’m in a race!

Help me, Mom, get that gumball, please!

I don’t like it being a sweet little tease.

Mom won’t help; she says, “I’m on my own.”

I guess I’m the big king upon my throne.

With a bobbing gumball right in front of me.

Cause Mom said, she’s out of the race, you see…

As my beautiful teeth don’t need that sweet,

The colorful, little gumball, the teasing, tasty treat.

So, there it hangs above my wanting eye for me to see,

Probably thinking to itself, ha, ha, you can’t get me.

Then Mom said, “It’s not a gumball, it’s a fishing bobber, goofy.”

“Now, slow down, relax; let’s watch my favorite movie.”

Oh, that loving mom of mine,

She loves to play tricks on me all the time.
