“Valentines Thank You – Candy and Flowers”

(How did you know my love?)

From raspberry candy to raspberry colored flowers,

Did you sit and ponder this, for many hours?

For the colors and flavors, I love so much,

To give to me this Valentines, with your loving touch.

When I say, “I love you,” you say, “I know,”

Doesn’t your heart say, I love you too, so?

I felt your arms wrap me in a tight embrace,

Yet, I see, tears welling on your face?

If there were tears, I thank you so much,

To me that was a very welcome touch.

Please don’t fear, my Dear,

I’m always going to be near.

Mistakes will be made just as God does know,

We’ll forgive each other, our love will grow.

God, knows our down deep thoughts inside,

How we both do feel, how we silently cry.

For the want and need, we both deserve,

Let no one throw us a ball with rotten curve.

Time will tell how solid we will become,

As we join to become a steady set of one.

I love you dear; you’re in my heart.

I have no fear; you will never part.

I once said, “I give till I can’t no more.

Cause the love in me, sure does soar.”

God keeps refilling me every day,

That is why I can forgive and say…

I’m going to love you every which way,

Tonight, tomorrow, and every day!
