(Acrostic)

“Cozy Poetry Corner”

Cozy‑dressed Randy, a zoo

Officer working at the Zoo.

Zany chaos starts to swell,

Yonder, a lion breaks loose. Randy starts to yell.

Patrol car spots Randy running for his life,

“Over here!” he yells to Randy.

“Enter quick!” the officer shouts.

Thankfully Randy dives inside the car.

Roaring loudly, the lions, clawing up the car. “Randy, you okay?”

“Yes, I’m fine,” says Randy. “Your patrol car won’t be!”

Calling for the lion tamer, the two men stay calm.

Only, the tamer can calm this lion down.

Running hard, he finally talks and tames the lion.

Now the lion responds to the tamer’s voice, slowing his rage,

Everyone was relieved as he was gracefully led back to his cage.

Randy declares, “I’m quitting this job! I need a safer one.”
