“Shower time, Then Shopping”
Bubbles, bubbles everywhere,
Please get out of my clean hair.
For I wash and wash without a care,
Knowing I’m getting clean in there.
Water is on, soon to be shut off.
Got to get out before I royally cough.
My cold is getting worse by the minute;
I wrap and dry my hair quickly, then spin it.
My birthday suit needs covering; it’s shivering.
I need to dress to stop all the quivering.
Ah, the warmth of polyester and cotton–
Sending shivers away; they’re so rotten.
Now that my bathroom ritual is finally done,
Towels are off; now to have fun.
Shopping time — for what? I do not know.
Anything great, I’ll know when I see it so.
The bubbles in the shower disappear just like me.
I’m clean as a whistle; can’t you see!
