“Help! I’m Stuck! Get Me Out of Here!”
Hey, Herbie, get me out of here!
I’m stuck in this can of stinky beer!
How I got stuck, I can’t recall.
All I remember is rolling around and having a ball.
Then I heard a terrible noise,
Was it one of the doggies’ toys?
I went to investigate, to my surprise,
I had to hide from something bigger than my size.
I turned quickly while running too fast,
Got stuck in this cans opening, that’s not a blast!
For it stinks so badly, I had this fear,
What I ran into was an open can of beer.
I can’t stand this; “Herbie, can you hear me shout?”
Cause my front is in, and my rear is out!
I am wiggling like crazy, I’m so stuck, and getting sore.
Herbie, come help me out! I helped you out once before.
Hurry before I faint!
Funny, I think this ain’t.
Grab hold of my butt,
I’ll suck in my big gut.
When I count to three,
Start pulling on me.
Ready, Herbie, here we go;
I’ll even count real slow.
Nice and easy, Herbie, please;
Oh, no! Stop! I must sneeze.
That did it, Herbie; I’m finally out!
I’m free at last, hear me shout!
Herbie, we need to move fast; here comes the cat.
He’s ready to pounce on us, thinking we are rats!
No! You don’t, I said with a grin.
We are not letting that dear cat win.
Off to my hole, we ran so fast.
Getting there, we’ll be safe at last.
Today was something we won’t forget.
Me, being chased by a cat, the furry threat!
I’ll just relax here in my bed and fall asleep.
Dreaming of the cat, the big furry creep.
With mister cat, right outside my door,
We’re not playing outside no, more.
Herbie, you can stay till the coast is clear,
Then go home with nothing to fear.
