Woodland Letter Poem About Friendship and Understanding

Dear Miss Snarky,”

I didn’t know you were so off that one day;

Don’t worry, it’s now a new day to play.

Come out of your shell and write to me.

It would be awful to lose a good friend, you see.

As I too am a busy little beaver sometimes;

Sometimes, I can’t find the proper rhymes.

You know God said it’s okay to have a bad day or two;

You didn’t get me mad or even turn me blue.

Please don’t cry, the clouds do that on rainy days;

But then God makes it better with a rainbow haze.

So don’t be too sad, my special Texas friend;

A little misunderstanding isn’t the end.

Signed, Little Squirrel
