Mother Nature in a Poetic Story of Hay Fever

Sneezing Through Spring: Hay Fever”

Mother Nature, take my hand,

I think you’re just grand.

With trees and grass of green,

The best I have ever seen.

Flowers are blooming just to please;

Hay fever, watch out! I must sneeze.

Mother Nature, please look –

Is there a painless remedy in your book?

For I love your beautiful outdoors,

To the grass and dirt on your floors.

But my itchy, watery eyes,

Can’t see your heavenly blue skies.

My red, raw, stuffed-up nose,

Can’t smell a beautiful rose.

My sneezing covers your chirping birds,

This is awful, mark my words.

Please, Mother Nature, please look.

Is there a remedy in your book?

For my, clogged up red nose.

So, I can smell a beautiful rose.

For my itchy, watery, red eyes.

So, I can see your heavenly blue skies.

And to stop my constant sneezing,

So, I can hear birds chirping, which is pleasing.

Mother Nature, take my hand,

You’re beautiful and so grand!
