Funny Poem About Silly Random Thoughts and Everyday Questions

(A Curious Ramble Through the Odd Corners of My Mind)

“A Puzzling Day of Thoughts I Probably Shouldn’t Admit Out Loud”

Is it fake or is it real?

Is it plastic or is it steel?

Have you ever wondered?

When it rained, did it thunder?

Questions one never knows

Is this how it really goes?

I ask all the time.

Like when I hear a bell chime.

Is it real or just a copy made to order, recording?

Is plastic or steel somehow more rewarding?

Is her hair blond or red, short or long, or maybe it’s a wig?

Why does that tree wear a yellow ribbon wrapped around its big twig?

I know it’s strange to think of questions like these.

I guess it’s better than saying, “Damn pepper when you sneeze.”

Many of us have strange, thinkable questions of our own.

Some ridiculous, to others, they’d say, “Your mind blown.”

I know you have said, now don’t lie,

“Did you ever have a good cry?”

Or, “Have you found the cheese grater?”

“Do I make my bed now, or later?”

How about dishes: rinse or not?

Today or tomorrow? Do I want to be a snot?

Strange as it is, we have all been there.

My advice, though please never stare.

If you see a man’s toupee, take flight in the wind,

Or a woman’s hairpiece retreats, like it sinned.

Be mindful and question wise,

Someone may be there you despise.

For not knowing whether it is fake or real.

This is just how many people feel.
