“Within Library Walls”

Within the library walls,

No bouncing balls or noisy calls.

The library is quiet, so people can read–

Silence is better for learning indeed.

Whisper softly, keep it kind;

Let the library wander through your mind.

Books and stories fill every shelf.

Look slowly, decide, then help yourself.

From Reading, Writing, Arithmetic,

To magic tricks and tales that stick—

Whatever you want, you’re sure to find.

The library is a recipe for the mind.

It can light up your heart’s desire,

For a library can always help light that fire.
