“I Love Sea Food” – A Whimsical Ode to Shrimp, Scallops, and Shellfish Chaos

“I Love Sea Food: Yum!”

Are you a big kid,

Who doesn’t wear a bib?

Do you eat crab legs

When is looks at you and begs?

See food delight —

Crab legs and lobster fight!

Break the shells and watch them fly;

Hope no one gets hit in the eye.

I prefer scallops myself,

A little pricey for my health.

Or even Walleye fish —

Sometime Perch is also a great dish.

I love sea food, though many don’t;

They wrinkle their nose and say, “No, I won’t!”

Caviar to me is black eggs — yuck!

Even though it costs many a buck.

I just can’t get into clams either;

They can give them to,” Leave it to Beaver.”

Oh why did I say that… now I feel sick.

Someone hand me a nice clean toothpick.

I want to use it for my shrimp,

Because this girl is such a wimp!
