“Karenina and Rebecca Cute Squeak“

Hello everyone, we are the cute – Squeak Sisters,

Alone today without our handsome Squeak Mister’s.

It’s almost Easter, and we love to hunt for colored eggs;

We know it sounds silly, with our short little legs.

But believe us, we can move quite fast if we want to.

We move faster than our dear, crazy Aunt Sue.

Rebecca brought a basket as she loves those colorful jellybeans;

And I (Karenina) love those marshmallow bunnies and chocolate creams.

It must be all the sugar we look forward to; we love to eat;

As Easter is always our, get-a-way to the yummy treats.

Searching for those colorful eggs gives us lots of exercise,

Seeing others, we know, is an added surprise.

It’s just about time for the hunt, and we are ready to go!

Watch out, as in this hunt you can’t be slow.

As the one with the most eggs in their basket wins.

And the prize is not some awful little pins.

It’s a “Giant Egg” filled with cream and a chocolate coating!

Rebecca wants to carry it home, and it’s her I’m quoting.

Got to get up to the starting line,

We don’t want to miss the starting chime.

Chimes went off; children are on the move;

Karenina yells, “Rebecca, come on, get in the groove!”

Rebecca says, “My basket is just about filled; I can’t hold anymore.”

“And besides, I ate all my jellybeans; now my tummy is sore.”

Karenina says, “I can’t go anymore either; these eggs are too heavy.”

“I’ll have to call our husbands, Bernie and Roy, to bring the Chevy.”

“Besides, we need something to cart all these eggs home.

Rebecca responds, “You know those guys are going to moan.”

“All because we didn’t win the grand prize —

The “Big Giant Cream Filled Egg,” that’s man-size.”

“Isn’t that just too bad? We girls had fun;

That’s all that matters, even no our eggs weighed a ton!”
