“My Nuts Are Loose Today”

Would you quit blinking?

I feel my mind sinking.

The world is spinning.

I’m not winning

Isn’t it unbelievably funny?

My nose is so red and runny.

But my eyes they’re blinking

Making me feel like I’m sinking.

Can’t figure this out,

It makes me want to shout.

I can’t stand this nutty stuff,

Yet everything is so tough.

My hands don’t feel soft,

I got this crazy cough,

My nose goes and goes,

It drips down to my toes.

Eyes quit your crazy blinking.

It’s bad enough that I feel I’m sinking.

Don’t know how or even when,

Just sinking fast, please, don’t count to ten!

That’s all I need – blinking, please stop!

I need to go out and grocery shop.

Stop this world from spinning,

My hair just keeps on thinning.

This life is out of control.

I don’t understand my goal;

It must be very near.

This I can only fear.

Eyes, quit your blinking

Mind quit your sinking.

World, stop spinning.

Guess what! I’m finally winning!

I finally know my goal,

I’m in total control.

Life is back on track,

My mind is not out of whack.

I’m “ME” once again!

I don’t know how or even when.

No need for anyone to count to ten.

Oh no, I’m out of ink… this darn pen!
