Easter Flop – A Silly Bunny Poem About Hopping, Gum, and Holiday Chaos

A cartoon-style Easter bunny sits in a grassy field completely tangled in bright pink bubblegum. Colorful Easter eggs spill from an overturned basket beside him, while the bunny slumps in a sticky pink puddle with a dazed, defeated expression. One ear droops, gum stretches across his paws, and the scene is playful, messy, and humorous—perfectly matching the poem’s “Easter Flop” theme.

“Easter Flop”

Hip, Hop, piddly top,

This is a game I cannot stop.

A bunny that is full of joy

Like a child with a new toy.

Hip, hop piddly top,

I’m going to joyfully shop.

To buy a super new toy

For Easter basket joy.

Hip, hop, piddly top,

I just love to stop and shop.

Easter time is for the kids,

Even ones still in bibs.

They love to hunt for Easter eggs,

And Daddy loves his beer from kegs.

Hip, hop, piddly top,

Now Daddy wabbles – he can’t stop.

Easter time is always fun,

Not when people chew their gum.

Hip, hop, piddly bubbles — please stop!

I’m all gummed up, I can’t hop!

Hip hop, my, diddly went plop-

I’m a mess from bottom to top!

Sorry kids, I’m now… gooey slop;

My hip is gone; my hop is too.

That can only mean… This bunny is through☹
