(A giggling game‑night tale starring one determined little chicken.)
“Block by Block the Party Never Stops”
One crazy night three friends giggled away,
Never stopping unless they had something to say.
What was so funny that they couldn’t stop?
It was chicken under the table; her egg went plop.
She felt so bad, and her friends laughed so hard;
Her egg made a mess, as she couldn’t hold a card.
Still, the chicken wanted to join the fun,
So off to the kitchen, she had to run.
To clean up the mess from her broken egg,
Then join in the fun, by climbing one’s leg.
It tickled the player, made them laugh even more,
Made everyone’s laughter- even chicken’s soar.
Poor little chicken just clucking away–
She couldn’t laugh, but sure could sway.
She danced a little in front of her friends,
And they laughed so hard they were getting the bends.
Night-time was approaching, the laughter never stopped.
Little chicken was so tired, she just dropped.
Her friends became hoarse; no sound was heard
Except the soft cluck from chicken the little bird.
Eventually, one by one;
Each fell asleep quietly after so much fun.
And block after block,
The party… finally did stop!
