“The Little Man, My Muse”
I share my life with the little man;
Who gets one turn on Earth to be grand?
When my spirits are right;
He sees God’s world in a whole new light.
For my little man has a life to share;
He knows how to love and care.
He may not be perfect in every way,
Yet he smiles and says hello every day.
He brings a little sunshine to all who pass;
Whether young or old, he’s never crass.
He’s a man who loves his God with all his heart.
And has forgiven others for not doing their part.
For this little man, he loves to write;
about the now and always is his plight.
Someday wishing to be rich;
So, bill collectors just won’t bitch.
This is how my little muse tries so hard;
Are you seeing the smoke coming from his ears, so charred?
Of ideas to help others in the best of times;
That have read his stuff while making his work chime.
