Pizza Party Chaos: Lessons Learned for Future Events

Four men outside a pizza shop showing empty pockets looking disappointed

“A Pizza Party: Ending in Chaos”

Hey guys, let’s have a pizza party.

Where everyone can eat kind of healthy.

With cheese, sausage, and pepperoni, fun.

All nice and gooey, watching the cheese run.

Let’s go buy some pizza for our party!

Where everyone loves to eat so hearty.

We can add some veggies, load it up with fun

I can’t get enough pizza, can’t eat it on the run.

Thin. hand tossed, pan, which style crust?

“Got to be thin,” everyone says that’s a must.

Robust marinara, or regular pizza sauce;

It doesn’t matter, whatever the cost.

What size? Which one do we want?

What can we carry home on our jaunt?

Sixteen, eighteen-inch pan or not?

Make your mind guys, or have you forgotten?

“What’s the call?” Now we are here.

“Do we want soda or do we want beer?”

So many choices, my mind went blank.

Looking for the money, my smile just sank.

No money in any pocket, no money anywhere.

Must be home in other pants, somewhere.

The guys will be mad; what can I say?

Thinking to myself, “I’m dead today.”

“Guess what, boys,” I kind of mumbled and said.

“I don’t have any money.” I know now I’m dead.

My friends are on the rampage, angry as can be.

No pizza party, no money, all because of me.

I learned a lesson once again.

Only make plans when…

I know where my money is;

So party plans with friends don’t fizz.
