Learning a New Computer: A Personal Tale of Confusion

Woman in a cozy sweater typing on a laptop at a wooden desk, a softly glowing brain‑shaped light above her head connected by delicate wires. Warm fairy lights, a steaming mug, and a sleeping cat create a peaceful, whimsical atmosphere as she works late into the night.

“Cozy Tale of Wires Crossed, and Brain Confusion

My brain fried, just not like an egg.

It’s begging for rest, but it can’t beg.

With blurred eyes, tears gently fall;

This week hasn’t been a ball.

New computer, more things to learn

Gets the mind confused, eyes burn.

Saved a little cash with gift cards and such;

Helped cut the cost nicely, didn’t hurt as much.

Time will tell when I become a pro;

Learning all this stuff, I don’t know.

Playtime limited housework too.

To enjoy my new computer, watch me go!

Open one program or keystroke at a time

Composing poems that are halfway rhymes.

I drop them on my poetry site.

My head and mind are too tired to fight.

Get out the egg carton — pack my brain inside.

Another day will return. For my brain to be fried.

Hopefully, on something other than this computer

Maybe this time it’ll be my husband’s scooter.
