Behind the Scenes of Story Creation

(A playful peek into the creative whirlwind behind every story. This poem celebrates the laughter, the tears, the late‑night typing, and the pure joy of letting your imagination run wild.)

“Life Of a Storyteller”

Stories on the horizon–

not very surprising.

She’s on a roll;

She’s no little mole.

Going through files,

typed by the miles,

loads of time off the clock–

only sound is a tic and toc.

Those keys just keep on pounding,

like brass horns sounding.

With a toot-ta- loo,

she’s not through.

Another laugh and sign,

another tear in the eye,

a belly that aches,

smiles she gives and takes.

What a joy to use your brain–

Even when it brings headaches of pain.

But that’s okay; the story gets done,

and all can say, “She sure had fun!”
