A Humorous Nonsense Poem About a Rabbit Losing His Marbles

“Roger Rabbit Lost His Marbles”

The ink is black

The days are white

I lost my shoe

And, stepped on a tac.

The grass is green

The weeds are tall

I mowed them down

A rabbit I have seen.

A play on words

I love to do

I found the time

To watch the birds.

Now can you play with me

Loving this game

Of only words

Come, let me see.

The ink is red

I cut myself

Band-Aids out

Gaull darns it, I’m dead!

The coffin sits open

There I lay

Looking white

And wide-open.

People stare not polite

Get out of here

I need to say

Can’t do it I’ll start a fight.

What is this stuff

Black and white

Games are crazy

This one is especially rough.

Can’t quit

Forgot how

Oh me, oh my

Let’s have a fit.

Slap your hand

I don’t have one

Quit this game

Sure, would be grand.

Gotta stop this nonsense

Pull the plug

It’s by the fan

Goodbye, I’m jumping the fence.

Bunny, I’m coming!
