“Tiny George”
~
“Hello, Mister… I’m Tiny George Turtle.
Can you help me find my mom, Murtle Turtle?
I got lost and now she’s probably worried.
She was in such a rush, so fast, so hurried.”
~
“She left tiny George so far behind,
I think she thought I wouldn’t mind.
But I did… I called her from the gate to wait.
It was too late. Mom was long passed the gate.”
~
Mister said, “Oh George, please don’t cry.
We’ll find her, wipe that tear, from your eye.”
George called out. “Mom, where are you? Please find me.
I’m too little to be alone… I’m scared, you see.”
~
“I know it’s scary being lost, away from mom and dad;
If something happened to you, they’d be sad.
Wait, I see her! She’s searching all around.
Can you hear her voice, George? Can you hear her sound?”
~
“I’m here, Mom! I’m here! Can you hear me mom? I’m calling for you!”
She sees you George, she’s coming, crying reaching for you.
She scoops little George hugging him tight, saying, “Are you alright?”
George replies, “I’m alright.” Hugged her back with all his might.
~
“Mom, next time, don’t walk so fast; I can’t keep up.
I’m only a little guy, with short legs, not a grown-up.”
“I love you, George, I’ll walk slower next time.”
I love you too, Mom… I’m tired, is it bedtime?
~
“No dear, Let’s get you home.”
