“Teach“

Floating above the Earth,

Lifting my spirit for what it’s worth.

Joyfully touching the clouds—

So much more peaceful than angry crowds.

~

Sleep peaceful, dream heavenly through the night,

Never hearing the neighbors fight.

Sleep well—dreams are free;

That’s the way I like it to be.

~

Soaring like an eagle high—

It’s breathtaking up in the sky!

Swooping down, soaring up,

I hear the barking of a pup.

~

Oh, how cute—another creature of God.

Only cute until he ruins man’s new sod!

God’s creature is he; you need to teach.

Use a soft voice and do not screech.

~

We all learn with a soft and mellow voice.

We all do listen and have a choice.

Teach God’s will and be free—

You’ll be happier, wait and see!
