My Small but Sacred Self‑Care Rituals

How do you make time for self-care?

How I make time for my self-care:

Finding time for self‑care in my house is a bit of a juggling act. Between a husband who always needs something and a dog who thinks she’s my furry shadow, quiet moments can be rare. So I claim Sunday mornings as my time — I stay home while my husband goes to church, and strangely enough, the dog seems to understand and leaves me alone.

The rest of the week, I squeeze in self‑care whenever I can: between chores, writing, dog duty, or helping my husband. It’s not perfect, but those little pockets of peace keep me going.
