My Beading: Doggie Date – Handmade Jewelry, Creative Humor & Crafting with My Dog

A smiling woman in an orange shirt sits at a bead‑filled craft table beside her golden dog, who’s wrapped in colorful bead strands. Shelves of jars and a sign reading “Beads Galore!” fill the background, capturing the joyful chaos of bead‑making with a furry helper.

“My Beading: Doggie Date ”

~

With love in my heart I love to create,

It’s close to doggie’s bedtime and we have a date.

He comes to help and remind me so—

That’s how all my beads start to flow.

~

With a wag of the tail, a nudge of the nose,

“Come on, Mom, stop playing with those!

It’s my bedtime, I need a drink—

Sorry, potty time too, I think.”

~

“Leave the beads, I’m colorful enough!

You’ve got way too much of this little stuff.

I come to see you and leave with beads in my tail,

All over the house they go—in Dad’s garbage pail.”

~

So come on, Mom, I love you too,

You can create tomorrow until you’re blue.

I need my needs met—your beads can wait,

For now it’s time for your doggie’s date!”
