The Great Tape Fiasco — Who’s being mean?

I want this tape, I want that tape
I’m Superman in my orange cape.
I want it sticky, strong like glue,
But nope, says girlfriend, Sue.
~
She wants blue and I want green.
“All because he’s an idiot, so mean.
He wants this tape, wants that tape,
he’s no Superman in that orange cape!”
~
Now, will it be blue – will it be green?
Who’s the real troublemaker —
And who’s just being mean?
