Setting Personal Goals

Open lined notebook with pencil, tea, and potted plant on wooden table

Do you set personal goals for yourself?

Do I set goals for myself? I set them, but that doesn’t always mean I meet them.

As humans, we all set goals. Some people stick to them and are very disciplined. Others are more relaxed about it, getting some things done and letting the rest wait. Me? I’m somewhere in the middle.

Maybe I’ll meet my goals today. Maybe not. Maybe tomorrow. But sooner or later, most of them get done.

My days are full. Between caring for my dog, keeping up with my husband, writing, and handling everyday life, goals can be hard to manage. I do the best I can with the time and energy I have.

At the end of the day, that’s enough for me. I simply do my best and call it a day.
