“Newspapers Everywhere”
~
Newspapers, newspapers everywhere
Give me ideas with loving care.
You talk about people and animals too,
You talk about everything that’s fresh and new.
~
Who did this and who did that?
Who struck a homer? Who was at bat?
What’s good to eat, which restaurant, too.
All the good stories just waiting to be read from, you.
~
Newspapers, newspapers everywhere
Reporting the daily news with care.
Authors Note: This poem was inspired by my appreciation for local newspapers and the many stories they bring into our lives each day. Whether reporting on community events, local heroes, sports, restaurants, or daily happenings, newspapers help keep us informed and connected.
