What’s a small moment from your past that you still think about years later?
I wish I could pick just one, but life has given me too many to choose from. I still think about snow forts and snowball fights with my children on winter afternoons that seemed like they would last forever. I remember writing my first book and having my boyfriend serve as the illustrator, making the project feel even more special. I remember the day my grandmother took me out to practice driving before I earned my license, patiently guiding me through every turn.
None of these moments seemed extraordinary at the time. They were simply small pieces of everyday life. Yet years later, they are still tucked away in my memory, reminding me that the moments we cherish most are often the ones we never realize are important until long after they’ve passed.
So many little things remain worth reminiscing about that choosing just one is impossible.
